Data access, disconnection and deletion

Occaso is designed to give organizations and authorized users practical ways to manage account data and connected services.

Access and correction

Authorized users may request access to or correction of personal information, subject to identity verification and applicable legal limitations.

Disconnecting integrations

Connected social or data services should be disconnectable. Disconnecting a provider stops future authorized access but may not automatically remove historical records required for security, audit or contractual purposes.

Deletion requests

Requests to delete personal information or an account may be sent to contact@occaso.ca. We may need to verify identity and determine what information must be retained by law or for legitimate security purposes.

Platform data deletion

Where a connected platform requires a specific data-deletion mechanism, Occaso intends to provide and document the required workflow before public production use.

Timing

We aim to acknowledge and process requests within the timeframes required by applicable law, subject to verification and lawful exceptions.
